Weather forecast was not the best for Sunday but even so EA3CBH and me (EA6VQ) decided to be active for some
hours on sunday morning for the contest, mainly with the idea of being active on
23 cm. after many years of inactivity on that band. Conditions were quite
unstable but the result were a bunch of nice QSO
across EA land and even CT, and also a few French stations (look at the bottom of this
page). Unfortunately weather forecast was correct, and at the time of
disassembling antennas it was raining cats and dogs...
Rig used was a TS-790 plus 160w on 2m, 115w on 70cm and 150w on
23cm and MGF-1302 preamps. The antennas were M2 12 elem. (3,5 wl) for 2m, 28
elem. (10wl) on 432 MHz, and Tonna 55 elem. for 23cm.
