Comments: The village of Sort is 692 m high, in the central Pallars Sobira, and it´s located in a valley, in the right bank of the river Noguera Pallaresa. The big circular towers, the gothic facate (XV century) and the walls of the castle of sort can be found at the west. It was the old residence of the Counts of Pallars and, since 1491, of the governors that administrated the marquisade on behalf of the Cardona´s family.
