Los Gigantes cliff

Los Gigantes cliff
Picture of Los Gigantes cliff (Tenerife - Spain) taken in/from the boat of Tenerife Dolphin excursions
Date: Oct-2006
Camera: Sony DSC-H5
Comments: In the past it was called "The hell´s wall", and you could imagine it like that, as it´s a dark bluff of lava almost impossible to cross towards the inside of the island. Its basaltic apperance falls drastically on the sea that extends between the locality of Los Gigantes and Punta de Teno, also known as Punta de la Aguja. Between them, the volcanic collapse is only limited by the oceanic deepness.
