Update June 1, 2025: Didier, F6BCW (TX5U) reports via F8FKI that some items are still missing (or have not arrived). Basically, he’s missing a headset so SSB will not occur, a SWR/PWR meter + antenna analyzer is also AWOL, along with back up PSU and some small tools. Unfortunately, it looks like these items will arrive on the island once Didier is back home in France.

Didier, F6BCW, will be active on 40-6m (CW and SSB) as TX5U from Tikehau, Tuamotu Archipelago, French Polynesia, from May 26 to June 8, 2025. This expedition will focus on traffic with Europe without neglecting other continents. There are no longer any active ham radio operators residing in the Tuamotu Archipelago. His goal is 12,000 QSOs. Equipment listed as: K3S with HVLA 1.3 amp; Antennas: VDAs – 6, 10-20m. Vertical for 30/40m with radials in the lagoon.
Log will be uploaded twice daily by F6EXV. QSL via Paul, F6EXV, exclusively via ClubLog (direct €4, free Bureau) and LoTW free after six months.
PLEASE NOTE: Didier will use the TX5U operation to prepare a DXpedition with eight operators in the Tuamotu Islands in 2026 or 2027.
