Update November 20, 2024: I have been able to do some operating as 5X1DF and plan a little more today. But unfortunately my wife has been taken into hospital since I came out here so I will cut short my trip and go home Thursday night and hence won’t be QRV in the contest (from here, at least). Fortunately our daughter has been around to help out.

Don, G3XTT (as 5X1DF) will be returning to Uganda in November with Alan G3XAQ (as 5X1XA). They will be there from 13 to 27 November but primarily to take part in the CQWW CW contest. Both will enter as a single-band category – in Don’s case 40m and in Alan’s probably 15 or 10m. Also likely to QRV prior to the contest on various bands; CW and probably some FT8.
