Update October 28, 2024: Last night we had a storm, rain and thunderstorms like we've never seen before. Our hostel parents were worried about our antennas. Both Spiderbeams defied the storm. Unfortunately, the storm was accompanied by a power cut that lasted several hours.
Sigi, DL7DF, DXpeditions Crew will be active as 3DA0DL from the Kingdom of eSwatini (WW Loc. KG53pl) between October 25 and November 9, 2024. Operators mentioned are Manfred/DK1BT, Wolf/DL4WK, Annette/DL6SAK, Tom/DL7BO and Frank/DL7UFR. Pilots stations for this DXpedition are Sigi/DL7DF and Bernd/DF3CB. They will be active with up to five stations on 80-10m using CW, SSB and the Digital modes.
Their equipment consists of three Icom IC7300, two IC705, power amplifiers, bandpass filters, a vertical for 160-80m, a 60m loop, a 40m loop, a 30m loop, a Spiderbeam for 20-10m, a Spiderbeam for 30-12m, loop antennas for 20/15/10m, HB9CV antennas for 17/12m and a beverage. QSL via DL7UFR, direct or by the Bureau.
