Update Nov,13 from their blog: "As a wonderful and unforgettable adventure, from the coast of Cambodia, the final act is upon us. Today, in early afternoon, local time, the team are gathering to begin the take down of the antennas. At this moment as we are writing this post, we decided to leave working only a vertical antennas for RTTY on 30 meters and 20 meters, the Spiderbeam, five bands, and the 40 meters vertical, for the only SSB station remaining, and the Quad and vertical 80 meters for the guys of CW.

In any case all the antennas will be put down tomorrow at the local Sunrise. We’ll leave our QTH in Ream – Shinahoukville District in late morning to reach, after a long way by bus the Phon Phen Airport and starting our come back route to Milano where we’ll arrive at 7 AM on Tuesday. We reached a target of 35.000 Qsos, with proudly a number of 6500 Qsos on RTTY. Thanks one again to the dxers of all over the world for calling and calling us in any band/mode. And thanks for your incredible support!!! The great big international family of the Mediterraneo Dx Club will come back on air with our unvualable members of the team .

So thinking about our next one! Lee Hai from Cambodia!!!

Antonio, IZ8CCW,leader
Gabriele, I2VGW co-leader
And ALL THE ENTIRE FANTASTIC INTERNATIONAL TEAM !
Update Nov,11 from their blog: "Hallo DXers, here is Cambodia speaking! However fluctuating propagation, violent thunderstorm, power black-outs and radar and QRM jamming, we are in good shape towards the target of 30K qsos. Just a couple of hours ago, local time, to give you an idea, we reached 5000 qso only in RTTY (So making a good job and giving Cambodia to many digi fans chasers!). Incredible efforts has been made also by the CW team and SSB team overall in the low bands to cover the world with our CQ from the bay of Ream, Sihanoukville.

Yesterday we finished the 4 days dxped also in the island of Ta Kiev (AS 133) with about 1000 qsos in the log under the call sign of XU7AMD. By the way Wednesday we had with all the team a briefing of middle road map and a great barbecue with a wonderful chocolate cake to congatulate ourselves for the six International DXpeditions organized by Mediterranneo Dx Club, starting since 2011 and to say goodbye to our friends and members of the team joined who us from Indonesia.

We’ll keep you updated soon, guys. Call and call us – we are here to do everything you need!

73, Antonio and Gab and the entire team of XU7MDC"
Update Nov,7 from their blog: "What a real surprise we have prepared for the IOTA chasers from all over the world. Starting today 4 pm local time we’ll be on air from Ta Kiev , AS 133 with the call sign XU7AMD, special issued from this special occasion. So surprise after surprise some members of the team will be active fron the island at least for 3 days from 4 pm to 11 pm. So do not miss this wonderful occasion to put in your log maybe a new one, on IOTA"
Update Nov,6 from their blog: "A nice mate decided yesterday to leave the team : ” The electricity power”..hi !. As a matter of fact yesterday about 7 p.m. local time the energy power went done in the entire village of Ream and in its the outskirts. Of course it happened during a lot pile-up in different bands/modes and all the amplifiers had to be swicth off because we had not power enough. Team had to proceed calls only with a generator. So it was not so easy for us try to work the world with only 100 watt.. !! We worked all night to find more power support and alternative solutions but only at the moment we are writing this post the energy power has come back to the village and also in our stations. We are very sorry about this “normal” black-out and, crossing fingers,we are going to do our best to fill more and more our log. In the meantime we are putting on, under the rain, the 160 meters antenna for the cw guys!"

UPDATE – The XU7MDC international team is working hard to build a very professional Dxped. They are testing many new items and tools to be able to reduce weight on the plane and maximize the results at their location; Sihanoukville beach, Cambodia.

A little change in their local accommodation means it’s now possible for another CW operator and SSB operator to join. So if anybody would like to join, they can suggest to contact, as soon as possible, the leader Antonio, IZ8CCW (iz8ccw@mdxc.org) and/or the co-leader Gabriele, I2VGW (i2vgw@arrl.net).

They will be on air from 4th to 14th November 2016. Operating 24/7 with 5 stations from the beach with a particular focus to low bands and digimodes. Antonio, IZ8CCW and Gabriele, I2VGW, will share this new adventure with 18 members from five countries. More details and info can be found on their site
